So let us offer ourselves entirely: all of ourselves, all of it, the good,
the bad, the beautiful, the horrible, all of it. This entire life offered
to what is thriving in all, as all that we are. It is very profound and
very simple. It is here and yet it seems that we must find it. But
regardless of whether we know we have found it or not it is here. What
one is, is always present whether we are aware of it or not. The beauty
is that we can become aware of it.
This is Satsang.

I have benefited so much from pointing my attention to what is silent, what is still, what is not moving; what is not going to be or has been already. Circumstances in our lives call for thoughts and action and doing something; being someone, responding in some way. But to actually have the courage really to just put all of that aside, all of our ideas about ourselves and other; what our lives mean and what it is all for; how we want others to change and what we want to change in ourselves. To actually just dare to let all of that fall away and be still. It is so nourishing in a life.

Quietly take me
and when I’m not looking
make me see.
Show me your unspoken secret that is beyond seeing.
I love you.
Your every gesture
pulls me deeper into You,
You, who I am.
A vision of awesome innocence so simple
I find myself.
I write this to You
my only Beloved
again and again
attempting to share the song
of Your Name
repeated in the rhythm of this life
forever.

Oh I love this bow
this bow that takes everything.
Beloved shining in our eye
Heart shining on everything
the brightness of it
so beautiful
even black is there
Oh love of loves
wink at me again

No story can tell what I know in you.
No name holds your essence in its
utterance.
You are completely mine
and I am known only
by you.
Beloved, I live only
to meet you.

I am what I have desired
I am the song my heart has sung in secret.
This melody of Love
is what I am composed of.
And you Beloved
are the world responding
as I rise to meet you,
alive in the beauty of recognition.
Our dance is truly a miracle of Love.

With nothing to offer
i can truly receive
Empty, i can be filled
Transparent – there is no reflection
Only One Self

Quiet quiet quiet
my heart loves quiet.
It rests deeply in the nourishing embrace of silence.
Love grows there in that empty space
in the effortless embrace
that excludes none
and includes all.
The true embrace is silence.

You speak my name
and I become the Headwaters,
begging to be drunk by all
nourishing by my very nature
a blessing.
My mind, tuned to hear you speak
is listening.
I fall to you
rushing over and through
to you.
And life consumes me.
All my earthly desires
drive me deeper into the discovery
of This
of You.
I am silent, I am all
I am nothing at all.
At the Headwaters
I drink
I am baptized
I wish for all to be
nourished Here.

Suffering that is submersed
obscured by familiarity
begs to be seen
with the clear eyes
of silence.
